Presently, they are disconnecting utilities. Some of the outer skin has been removed to afford some light and air into the structure so they can identify asbestos locations. The asbestos abatement is tentatively scheduled to begin early next week. Depending upon the progress of the asbestos abatement, demolition will begin 7-14 days later. Plans are currently to remove only the structure and leave the slab floor. No information has been given to City Hall regarding future plans of the site.
