Recreation Associate I (Assistant Swim Team Coach)

Recreation Associate I (Farmers Market Assistant)
The Recreation Associate I will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, and safety of all participants.

Recreation Associate I (Camp Counselor)
Responsible for supporting, enforcing the rules, planning and implementing outdoor games, crafts, special events and outdoor activities for children ages three to eleven in routine activities. Must be at least a Junior in High School, experience in working with school age children in a day camp setting and must have outdoor youth education experience.

Recreation Associate II (Camp Director/Head Counselor)
Responsible for supporting camp counselors, enforcing the rules, planning and coordinating outdoor games, crafts, special events and outdoor skill activities with the counselors for children ages three to eleven. The Director is responsible for upholding and enforcing all Fenton Parks and Recreation guidelines, policies and regulations. The Director is responsible for facilitating the counselors in planning, implementing camp activities while providing a safe, and fun and educational atmosphere. Must be at least a Senior in High School, experience in working with school age children in a day camp setting, must have outdoor youth education and previous supervisory experience.

Recreation Associate III (Head Swim Team Coach)
The Recreation Associate III will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants.


Recreation Associate IV (Yoga/Group Cycling Substitute Instructor)
The Recreation Associate IV will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants. Must have instructing experience in the select specialized area. Certain fields will require a certificate in Standard First Aid and/or CPR (American Heart Association Level "C" or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer.


PUBLIC WORKS

Building/Grounds Maintenance Worker 
Performs manual routine work in all phases of building cleaning operations including vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replacing cleaning and custodial supplies, cleaning windows and doors (inside and outside), removing snow, occasionally landscaping, replacing light bulbs, painting interior and exterior surfaces, and other building maintenance activities as required. Receives daily functional supervision from Building/Grounds Technician; receives administrative supervision from Public Works Director.
Pay Range:  $12.30 (Entry) - $15.53 (Mid)  -  $18.02 (Max)

Maintenance Worker I
Responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items. Assists skilled Maintenance Workers in infrastructure repairs, replacement of concrete, asphalt, storm line and drainage systems, signage, and traffic signals and markings. Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from Director of Public Works and/or Designee.
Pay Range:  $13.74 (Entry)  -  $17.35 (Mid)  -  $21.37 (Max)

Maintenance Laborer (Seasonal Position)

Responsible for performing maintenance of City infrastructures, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items. Assists Maintenance Worker I in infrastructure repairs and landscaping. Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from Public Works Director.
This is a seasonal position paying $9.00/hour.
