Building/Grounds Maintenance Worker
Recreation Associate IV (Aerobics Instructor - Stationary Cycling)
Pay Grade: H ($11.34 - $14.43 - $17.52)
Performs manual routine work in all phases of building cleaning
operations including vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning
and sanitizing restrooms, replacing cleaning and custodial supplies,
cleaning windows and doors (inside and outside), removing snow,
occasionally landscaping, replacing light bulbs, painting interior and
exterior surfaces, and other building maintenance activities as
required. Receives daily functional supervision from Building/Grounds
Technician; receives administrative supervision from Building Operations
Maintenance Worker I
Pay Grade: J ($12.78 - $16.27 - $19.75)
Responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items. Assists skilled Maintenance Workers in infrastructure repairs, replacement of concrete, asphalt, storm line and drainage systems, signage, and traffic signals and markings. Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from Operations Supervisor. Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience in public works, construction, or related field. Commercial Driver's License (Class B) acquired within designated time period. One year related work experience or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
Parks & Recreation
The Recreation Associate IV will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor, Specialist or upper level Instructor. Associates will assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants. Experience and certification in group cycling instruction preferred.
Recreation Associate IV (Interpreter - Sign Language)
The Recreation Associate IV will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants.
