Concession Stand Worker
Under general supervision, is responsible for food sales and preparation, cleaning and maintenance of concession stand equipment.  Will help in the daily operations of opening and closing the concession stand.  Will stock concession stand as needed. Operate and balance cash register.  Will assist with Inventory and accounting of supplies as well as machine maintenance.  Must be 21 years of age or older.  This is a seasonal position.

Recreation Associate I - Front Desk
Responsible for assisting members with front desk check-in.   Assist guests with program review and sign-ups, enrolling guests as members.  Provide back-up support to the Stay N Play and Fitness areas.   Excellent communication and customer skills a must.  Must be able to answer and direct callers, use cash register and computer.  This is a part-time position and shifts varies.

Swim Lesson Instructor
Responsible for teaching swim techniques to participants.   Teach and assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants.  Excellent customer service skills and abilities a must.

Umpire
Umpire Men's and Coed softball games at Fenton City Park. Experience desired.  Must be able to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure. Must represent the City of Fenton in a mature and professional manner. All leagues will be using the USSSA rules as the basis for play, with the following league amendments and inclusions.  The Fenton Parks and Recreation Softball program is not a registered USSSA program.   Leagues are to begin the week of April 9th.  Must be 18 yrs old.  This is a seasonal position.

Interpreter
Responsible for facilitating communication between persons who are deaf and/or hard of hearing and others; using sign language to convey instruction and intent; assisting guests with facility activities; providing voice to sign, sign to voice oral transliterate support; participating as a team member to plan, review and share information; and serving as a resource staff requiring assistance with hard of hearing and deaf person/s.  Interpreter is needed to assist in swim lesson instruction, camps, classes and various sports activities.  Hours and days vary in accordance with guest participation.  Saturday availability is a priority.

Public Works

Seasonal Maintenance Laborer
Responsibilities including grass and weed mowing/trimming; maintaining cleanliness of park restrooms and playgrounds; landscaping; sports field maintenance.  Performs manual routine work in all phases of building cleaning operations including vacuuming, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replacing cleaning and custodial supplies, cleaning windows and doors (inside and outside), removing snow, occasionally landscaping, replacing light bulbs, painting interior and exterior surfaces, and other building maintenance activities as required.
