Deputy City Clerk/Administrative Assistant
This is a salaried position responsible for performing general duties of the City Clerk’s position in the absence of the City Clerk or as directed, special project research and administrative assignments to support the City Clerk such as maintaining files, and proofing documents. Responsible for managing and administering various Human Resource functions and activities including, data entering, employment procedures, maintenance of personnel files, preparing and maintaining confidential materials and other human resources related areas. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and programs as they relate to human resources. Also serves as front desk support in such areas as answering and transferring telephone calls, greeting visitors, typing and mailing correspondence and newsletters. Serves as Notary Public.
Pay Range: $33,613.21 - $42,444.57 - $52,281.33 (Low – Mid – High)
PARKS & RECREATION
Recreation Supervisor - Membership and Marketing
Responsible for overall management of the Parks & Recreation Department’s marketing and promotional strategies. Responsible for leadership of customer service quality and training. Also responsible for membership sales, retention efforts and strategies. Duties include planning, designing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities, membership retention strategies, corporate membership sales, customer satisfaction surveys and supervision of Recreation Specialists in charge of the front desk, facility rentals and the concession stand.
Pay range: $35,013.27 (Entry) - $44,212.46 (Mid) - $54,458.95 (Max)
Recreation Associate II (Gymnastics Instructor)
The Recreation Associate II will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, conduct games, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for enforcing the rules, regulations, and safety of all participants.
Recreation Associate IV (Yoga/Group Cycling Substitute Instructor)
The Recreation Associate IV will perform duties as assigned under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor. Required to assist with equipment set up, class routines and skills, and creating a safe and fun environment. Responsible for assisting and enforcing the rules, regulations, programs, and safety for all participants. Must have instructing experience in the select specialized area. Certain fields will require a certificate in Standard First Aid and/or CPR (American Heart Association Level "C" or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer.
Maintenance Laborer (Seasonal Position)
Responsible for performing maintenance of City infrastructures, recreational facilities, park grounds, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and related items. Assists Maintenance Worker I in infrastructure repairs and landscaping. Receives daily functional supervision from skilled Maintenance Workers; receives administrative supervision from Public Works Director.
This is a seasonal position paying $9.00/hour.
