Youth Basketball Programs
|Our Youth basketball program starts at a very young age. We offer a complete program to get the kids ready to enjoy this fun sport. Program offerings (seasonal) are always listed in the current Beacon.
Youth Basketball Rules and Regulations
Jump Start Basketball (ages 3-5)
Young athletes will learn basic skills to help develop
coordination and other skills necessary to play
basketball. This class heavily relies on parental
involvement and a parent or other adult is required to
attend. Additional program information including dates, times and fees can be found in The Beacon.
Beginners Basketball (ages 6-10)
This clinic is designed for beginners entering our
2016 Basketball League. This class will teach
participants the fundamentals that will help them
progress through our Youth Basketball League. More detailed information on dates and fees can be found in the current issue of The Beacon.
Youth Basketball Leagues (1st-3rd grades)
This (6) six game recreational league is designed to
teach participants the fundamentals of the game of
basketball. Participants will receive a numbered
uniform and trophy. Practices will be held on Friday
evenings and Sunday afternoons at RiverChase. Registration dates, session dates and more information about when this league is offered can be found in the current issue of The Beacon.
If you are interested in being a parent coach, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Coaches are always needed and will receive a FREE registration credit at the end of the season.
