City Clerk

Public Works

Maintenance Worker I

The City of Fenton is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Maintenance Worker I.  This position will perform maintenance and construction of City infrastructure, recreational facilities, park grounds, and buildings.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, repairs on City streets, curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, drainage systems including culverts and ditches, park grounds, recreational facilities and buildings, operating light to heavy equipment and performing seasonal tasks such as snow removal and de-icing procedures, tree trimming, and brush removal, grass and weed mowing and trimming.   High School Diploma or equivalent experience in public works, construction, or related field required.  Must have a CDL or obtain within six months of employment.  Starting salary is $31,373 but will be determined based on qualifications.  To apply, submit an employment application to Nikki Finkbiner, City Administrator – 625 New Smizer Mill Road, Fenton, MO 63026 or by email to nfinkbiner@fentonmo.org.  This opportunity to remain open until filled.

Parks and Recreation

Recreation Associate III – Fitness Instructor

The City of Fenton is seeking qualified individuals for the Recreation Associate III with an emphasis in Fitness Instruction. This position is responsible for promotion, communications supervision, personal training, senior classes and group exercise classes. This position requires a nationally recognized certification (ACSM, ACE, NSCA or AFAA) and must be a certified Silver Sneakers Instructor. Stay 'N' Play Worker - Mornings

Applicants should have prior experience working with children between the ages of 3mos and 12 yrs. Structure for children is based on open play environment. No bottle feeding or diaper changing included in staff responsibilities. Must be available Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. Starting at $10.06 per hour.

Personal Trainer

Flexible hours, requires day and night availability. At least one year of experience preferred. Must have certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM or another national certification).

Yoga Instructor

Must be willing to teach classes in the evenings. At least one year of experience preferred. Must be certified in yoga.

Swim Lesson Instructor

Now hiring swim instructors for 2019, must have prior swimming experience. Saturday Mornings 9:15 to 11:15 am starting at $10.06 per hour

Umpire

Now hiring for men's and co-ed softball umpired for the 2019 season. All leagues will be using USSSA rules as the basis for play. Games are played Monday through Friday and Sunday. Pay range is $18.80 to $26.33 per hour.

Group Exercise Instructor

Individual must be certified (ACE, AFAA, ISSA, etc.) to teach a variety of morning and evening classes.
