Bud Weil Memorial Park

Bud Weil Park displays a rich history. Gregory Domijan was an immigrant from Croatioa, A province of Yugoslavia. In 1929 Domijan, a stonemason by trade, purchased a 60 acre tract of land. Included in the purchase was this park site. The land was purchased by the City of Fenton in 1979 The park was named after Bud Weil. Reservations and permits for shelters in Bud Weil Memorial Park are only issued to City of Fenton residents.

Shelters:

  • Hexagon Shelter has electric and BBQ grill. Capacity is 30 people.
  • Domijan Shelter also has electric and BBQ grill. Capacity is 50 people. Access to the Domijan Shelter is up a stone stairway.

Trails: 0.2 wood chip and informational nature trail

Athletic Facilities: N/A

Lakes and Fishing: Bud Weil Lake is a public fishing lake made possible by the City of Fenton in cooperation with the Missouri Conservation Department. All state and Missouri conservation rules apply and are posted.

Pets: Welcome on a leash. Please respect your park and community by cleaning up after your pet.
